Yes. The ASIWO Manta electric sea scooter is designed for beginners, recreational swimmers, snorkelers, and experienced scuba divers. Three selectable speed modes allow users to start slowly before progressing to faster underwater exploration.
Children who can swim confidently may use the Manta sea scooter under adult supervision in pools or calm shallow water. Ocean use should always be supervised by experienced adults.
Yes. With a 40-meter depth rating, it is designed for recreational scuba diving, snorkeling, and underwater exploration within recommended safety guidelines.
The Asiwo MANTA underwater scooter features three (3) speed modes. It will always start in the first, or slowest mode.
1. To increase speed, hold the LEFT trigger and press the RIGHT trigger twice. 2. To decrease speed, hold the RIGHT trigger and press the LEFT trigger twice.
The EL-SS01 includes a 126Wh battery, which falls below the common 160Wh carry-on limit. Airline policies vary, so always confirm with your carrier before travel.
The primary difference is battery capacity. The Manta (EL-SS01) includes a 126Wh battery optimized for travel, while the Manta 2 (EL-SS03) includes a larger 201.6Wh battery for extended runtime.
Yes. The power lights also indicate the battery state. These are below
1. Highest Level of Charge: All four (4) of the battery indicator lights are green and lit. 2. Medium Charge: Three (3) of the four (4) battery indicator lights are green and lit. 3. Low Charge: Two (2) of the four (4) battery indicator lights are green and lit. 4. Below 20% and Needs Charging: One (1) of the four (4) battery indicator lights is red and flashing.

The ASIWO Manta performs consistently, feels much more refined, and has noticeably stronger thrust. Being able to fly with the airline-compliant battery was a huge advantage during our Greece vacation, and the self-floating feature saved the scooter when my son accidentally let go near the dock. Bought this for my husband who is interested in snorkeling recently. Packaging is solid and it’s bigger than I thought before. But still fit in the suitcase. The one handed operation is a good feature. And I plan to buy a sports camera for this summer. Only downside: it comes with one battery and needs to charge for a while, so we’ll likely buy another battery.
